Part 1: Walking Gods Are Amongst Us.
I was blessed to meet SriMata in 2016, Divinity in Human Form
The Grace of Divine Mother
I met SriMata in April 2016 and immediately felt a warmth and all encompassing connection like I am with the whole world whilst sitting with Her. It felt like I'm sitting in the inner sanctum of a pure temple of light. In physical presence, the feeling is inexplicable. That of being absorbed in inner warmth and feeling of completeness (known as 'purna tatwam' in Sanskrit meaning 'Wholeness Principle').
SriMata is my divine teacher who since Summer 2022 speaks to me as inner Guru. I have traversed many paths with various Gurus🙏🏾. Each path essential, each teaching me something invaluable which was part of my training, learning and sadhana (discipline). However, when I met SriMata I felt I had arrived 'home' with the purest Higher Being who wants nothing from me but for me to evolve and grow.
We Are Not Equal
The term 'We are all equal' is bandied about a lot in English parlance. Of course, I understand the notion. We are all equal in our absolute 'essence' or spirit. All souls are sparks of something higher, the Supreme which many call God, Mother Mary, Krishna, Ram, Lord, Allah, Jesus and countless other names and forms across many traditions. In the ancient traditions of India, we are equal in our essence ie souls, but we cannot define ourselves to be fully equal to a Jesus, Ram, Krishna etc. If we did, we would be perfected beings without vices and only radiate a pure virtuous existence and divine glow, with utmost purity and no negativity inside. Sadly most humans are not like that, we are not even touching the surface of our true essence and spirit, many being disconnected from Source. Human beings, unlike the Walking Gods, are tainted by lower tendencies and behaviours like anger, lust, greed, hatred, delusions etc.
The ‘Walking Gods’ are free of all that.
[Both positive and negative tendencies are known as ‘karmavasanas’ in Sanskrit, meaning our innate natural tendencies and habits. Our negative ‘karmavasanas’, you could say are our karmic vices and the positive one are karmic nice qualities]
In the ancient tradition of India, there is a clear distinction between 'Humans' and 'Walking Gods' :
JivAtma means personal soul or individual soul which is within every Human Form. This is all people in human bodies. We have a soul and we are in human bodies with karma that we are expending and using up in each moment (most likely we are creating new karmas too ie cause and effects, which guarantees a new birth and body and means no moksha or liberation from the cyclical birth death pattern).
ParamAtma is the Supreme Soul operating in and through A Human Form. These are liberated beings who have dropped down on earth intentionally, by their own choice. They do not create new karmas which mean they will not be born again unless they choose to be. They are perfected beings Walking the earth like Gods (known as Deivas) - much like Maha Periyava and SriMata, who I wrote about in my first blog here. They have no karmas expending, just Walking Gods intentionally paving the way with light for others to follow a higher path)
[At this point I must share that it doesn't mean that the Walking Gods amongst us are always ‘nice’ to us. They can be fierce and push our buttons, make us cry and urge us to question everything about ourselves. For those who seek higher, they quietly are always helping us. Sri MahaPeriyava was a gentle loving Guru full of compassion, grace and so much wisdom, infinite knowing, inner and outer beauty but on occasions He would be v curt to Devotees. He would look annoyed and sometimes refuse to see them! Why? Because He (and the Walking Gods) know our karma-vice-annas and what we are holding close to us - the good and the not so good and aspects that are un-evolving for us. The real Walking Gods want nothing from us but for us to go beyond negative repetitive behaviours, surpass boundaries and grow into unfamiliar fertile ground that grows us and pivots us higher. This means breaking through old negative habits that are keeping us stuck and not helping in our evolution and sometimes means enforcing a Three-line whip 🤣 which can be painful and misunderstood.
I am like most of us, of course, w-i-p 😁, an aspiring and keen student constantly on a learning curve but definitely moving in the right direction]
The Universal, pure Paramatman Souls have higher omni- qualities which set them apart because they exist in:
Omnipresence
Meaning their existence is infinite, they are everywhere in animate and inanimate.
Omniscience
Meaning they are all-knowing vessels holding the vast knowledge of all that is known and unknown, seen and unseen.
Omnipotence
Meaning they are all powerful, being Controllers of the Universe (Jagat). I can confidently assert that they can shape shift and have powers beyond the understanding of our limited human minds. I have personal experience of this myself (for a future post). If they will the sun to shine, they can do it by simple command despite adverse weather report forecast. That is the power and Grace of the JagatGurus.
They are a rare occurrence and if we ever get a chance to meet One, then we must take every opportunity because they are a blessing on earth for us all. They come to help us in every way.
SriMata is God in beautiful human form, a ParamAtman soul who came and blessed me with Her prana, love, smile and the most dear and warmest hugs. She is a rare gift. I am utterly grateful to have had this communication and ability to learn and grow with SriMata's Grace, which is that of JagatGuru SriAdiShankaracaarya BhagawathPada of the 8th Century, who was the Greatest Guru That Ever Walked This Earth ;0) (more on Him + His Greatness in future posts).
To end, a few words on my experience
There is an energy within of S/He in my Heart; within S/He speaks, whispers, dances, sings, draws, laughs, and much more indescribable, I could never describe exactly and you would never believe exactly! She is sweet, sometimes fierce, the greatest teacher, giving lessons. The journey connects me to my essence and spirit and is strengthening, wild, happy, evolving and magnificent. Some think I’m mad, promise I am…. NOT. It’s a wild ride with fun along the way. Wanna join? You’re welcome!
Love Love Lots of Monday Love,
