"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better” ~ Albert Einstein
~ I love. Simples ~
I’m into nature, mountains, walking, being outdoors, all things wellness for Self, others, the planet and I adore animals especially parakeets and cats. I have a special love of the ancient wisdom systems which can heal us especially the Vedic teachings; I believe every solution to every problem in the world can be solved through the Vedic teachings.
I am an ever-loving, devoted student of the Greatest Sri Adi Shankaracaarya.
Om Sri Shankaraaya Namaha.
Daughters are the best.
I am blessed with two gorgeous, amazing, bright and utterly wise daughters who are happy-go-lucky, they laugh, smile and spread their tranquility, joy, song and dance wherever they go. + Yes, ofc they got their best qualities from me ;0).
They’re not this little anymore but just as cute. They’re teenagers now doing teenage stuff. I love these pictures which remind me that as young children, we are so innocent, free, bouncy and cute….
Here’s a picture of Gigi, our divine (adopted) stray cat who left the world in June 2021. He was believe to the grand age of 24 when he left us and looked as youthful as a kitten to that day.
We had Pippa for two years before she left us. Our cute tuxedo cat who was so Divine, loving and cute, the white on her chest could easily have passed off as a love-heart if only she would sit properly! ;0)
A bit about me.
I was born in Uganda, Africa to a Gujarati Indian family, who were forced to flee the beautiful homelands of Kampala during the Idi Amin dictatorship. It devastated my family as our whole world, income, belongings were uprooted. At short notice my Dad arranged for his family of 11 - siblings, wife, children, parents - to move to the UK where we became refugees in urgent need of accommodation, income, food etc.
Imagine going from affluence to nada within a few weeks?! My Dad never quite got over that inner crash as his world turned upside down going from affluent, prospering and skilled in his work to new beginnings, land, faces, language, environment, racism and more. We ended up in Bolton, Lancs.
I was raised in an extended family system with three elder sisters, my parents and grandparents, 4 uncles (eventually their wives!) all in one small terraced house. My nuclear family of 6 lived in one bedroom for many years. We were like Charlie and the Chocolate factory with four of us in a bed. Despite being squeezed for space and having limited privacy, I remember it being cosy, fun and a very happy time for us except that the extended family system over time uncovered challenges and pain.
We lived on a cute cobbled street called John Brown Street - I can smell the black tar bubbles on the cobbles now as I write.

In 2016, I met SriMata
SriMata, is what is known as ‘ParamAtman’ meaning existing on earth in a Realised State much like Sri Krishna, Sri Ram, Jesus Christ. To me, Sri Mata is A Walking God blessing the earth and all who She meets. Her blessings are life changing, Her Presence Golden with the capability to fill one with ‘Maha-Prana’, a bubbling lifeforce filled with the highest light of God and which can change the trajectory of one's life. SriMata is a proponent of Vedic Sciences and advances this on earth.
‘Writing is Shuddhi’
In 2018, I arose one morning with a clear message that came into my consciousness through SriMata; ‘Writing is Shuddhi’. I couldn’t recall what the word, ‘Shuddhi' meant and looked it up to remember it means ‘Purification’ in Sanskrit.
+ So here I am, writing and sharing to my heart’s delight. I only share a fraction of what I write. I don’t think the world is ready yet for it yet (ok, I'm not totes ready too ;0). When I get the inner green light, I will share more and more.
